Step on the gas:
Intuitive, powerful and mobile
We have fundamentally developed the software and system visualisation of our SCHULZ productionstar® for use in processes such as biogas production. Complex individual programming has given way to the customised configuration of customer systems. Where many PCs used to be necessary, today a cost-efficient server is sufficient. Web-based access to the intuitive visualisation of the system is flexible and can be accessed from any stationary or mobile device such as a laptop or tablet. This makes analysing, monitoring and operating a system significantly more efficient.
The first practical use of our improved software product has been running with great success in one of the world largest biogas parks since the end of 2023. The plant operator has been relying on us for years and is delighted with the test run: “Even the experienced plant operators find their way around the new visualisation system after just a few days.” Our colleague Nathan Wollek, Product Manager for Software Systems, is responsible for the entire product development and customer projects. He and his team carried out the changeover at the biogas park in stages in concurrent operation with the existing software. The entire remote commissioning ran smoothly, from the simulation to the test control of the first biogas module. “Everything is stable and reliable. Over the course of this year, we will bring together the entire plant park in a visualisation system so that it can be monitored, controlled and optimised across all modules,” says Wollek.
With his broad-based team from development, UI/UX design, testing and quality control, he has transformed SCHULZ productionstar® software over the past two and a half years as Product Owner bringing it to product maturity. “The interest is huge. Further customer projects have already started,” confirms Wollek.
