Anuga FoodTec 2024
A showcase of unrivalled processes for the food industry
Everything for the production of staple and luxury foods
From 19 to 22 March, experts from the entire food and beverage industry will meet at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne. We will also be on site at the largest international vendors fair. For the second time we will attend the fair along with Wellmann Anlagenbau in a joint stand.
“In the age of digitalisation, individualisation and energy conversion, automation technology requirements are becoming increasingly challenging,” said Mariusz Ziombek, Managing Director at SCHULZ Infoprod. Our Polish subsidiary has been automating manufacturing systems for the dairy industry and delicatessen production for almost two decades – from small local dairies to large international companies with numerous locations and different product ranges. “SCHULZ Infoprod is a leading centre of expertise in this segment within the entire SCHULZ Group,” emphasised our colleague Stefan Hitz, Head of the Industrial Automation department at the company headquarters in Visbek.
As in the dairy industry, industry representatives from all areas of the food and beverage industry need to address a wide array of issues. Especially when it comes to process engineering and plant construction. In order to get the most out of this for our customers, we have been working outstandingly well with Wellmann Anlagenbau from Halle in Westphalia for some time now.
Through this partnership we are completing our offer for the staple and luxury food industry. Manufacturers can thus benefit not only from customised automation solutions, but also from precisely tailored plant construction, which are flexibly made-to-measure to bespoke product design. And precisely because we are knowledgeable about all three fields of automation technology – electrical engineering, mechanics and IT – we can indeed provide complete turnkey solutions.
Showcased at our trade fair in Cologne are a broad range of forward-looking, intelligent automation solutions. They combine technologies such as AI and IIOT as well as holistic energy optimisation with process control.
How we bring more efficiency to cleaning processes with new CIP tools
Our skilled experts from Poland will be presenting new software tools for optimising cleaning processes. They specialise in the CIP, SIP and WIP cleaning systems that are commonly used in the industry, as well as being sought after when it comes to customised requirements and special solutions.
“We will be showcasing useful CIP tools that not only enhance the efficiency of cleaning processes, but also monitor and continuously boost them,” says the Managing Director.
These smart tools can boost the production process by automatically analysing workflows in real time. They also support the operating personnel in production planning and system management and improve product safety.
Control of the production and cleaning process has also been improved: each step can be documented in detail so that the energy and resource costs can be allocated to the respective product.
Smart process control
We will be showing our MES/process control system SCHULZ productionstar® as well as standard systems based on AVEVA, Rockwell and Siemens products. By leveraging our software solutions, we can implement all the digitalisation, sustainability and customisation requirements of the staple and luxury food industry and boost efficiency at every single step of the process. In doing so, we aim for holistic energy optimisation. In this way, manufacturers can save costs and cut down on their footprint from an environmental perspective.
Our host of services cover more than just the manufacturing process. We also offer solutions for product packaging and develop customised robotics concepts.
Pioneering technologies in plant construction
Wellmann Anlagenbau’s specialists will be presenting pioneering technologies and systems for various areas of food production.
Whether for dairy technology, vegetarian and vegan foods, chocolate and confectionery production or edible oils and fats, as well as sauces, dips, mayonnaises and ketchups – trade visitors will be impressed with the development of technical engineering processes, high-quality technical systems and piping installation.
Visit us at the Anuga FoodTec in Cologne. Together, we can tackle the issues that affect the entire industry. No matter whether you deal with digitalisation, individualisation or energy conversion. We are looking forward to meeting you.
